Laboratory Specialist: Microbiological Testing

Join our team as a key player in ensuring product quality and safety within our Quality Control (Microbiology) group. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality microbiological testing of raw materials, incoming goods, intermediates, and/or finished products under controlled conditions. This includes monitoring facilities' utilities systems, supporting equipment qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment, and being involved in aseptic process simulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality control microbiological testing to ensure product compliance with established standards.
  • Support the monitoring of facility's utilities systems to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist in the qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
  • Participate in aseptic process simulations to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Support method development and validation for microbiological testing.
Requirements:

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in microbiology, laboratory operations, and quality control procedures. A degree in a related field is required, and relevant certifications are an asset.
