Senior VP, Group Wholesale Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior VP, Group Wholesale Operations to join our team at United Overseas Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the governance and management of the T&O function in Overseas Branches, ensuring that issues and risks are appropriately addressed and escalated.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and guide the GWOS team to ensure timely delivery of outcomes and adherence to approved budgets.
- Conduct T&O peer reviews of overseas branches, focusing on management and operational risks and adherence to regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Operations Managers in overseas branches, connecting with relevant parties and functions to address needs and issues.
- Exercise oversight on the rollout of Group policies, procedures, products, and projects to overseas branches.
- Identify T&O process standardization opportunities and drive standardization initiatives in overseas branches.
- Engage in internal and external audits of overseas branches, bringing group management oversight on T&O related audit findings.
- Engage with stakeholders, including Branch and Group senior management, to deliver outcomes and manage risks.
- A degree holder in a relevant discipline with good verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 15 years' experience in wholesale banking operations, including operational risk management, with a broad-based knowledge of wholesale banking products and processes.
- Previous experience in auditing, credit admin, and control/loan documentation, trade processes, and/or wholesale banking operational risk would be an advantage.
- Possess leadership qualities, influencing and interpersonal skills, and a strong drive to achieve quality work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
