Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including conducting daily inspections and performing preventive maintenance on various systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections and resolve issues related to building operations and M&E systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, BAS/EMS, security surveillance, and access systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment to minimize downtime
  • Respond promptly to tenant service requests and emergencies
  • Optimize energy efficiency and occupant comfort through BAS & EMS optimization
  • Maintain maintenance logs, equipment records, and inventory of spare parts
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist with contractor management and budget planning

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in commercial/factory building operations and maintenance
  • Strong, proven technical knowledge in two or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or controls
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and operational manuals
  • Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Must be available for occasional overtime, weekend work, and a rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergencies
