Trusted Legal Expert for Trade and Property Matters

Our client is a leading player in the trading and distribution of steel-related products. They are also involved in property development, with a focus on service apartments.
We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on all aspects of Singapore law and various applicable laws, regulations, and Company rules.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing legal opinions, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts;
- Leading the legal assistance on business development activities, including establishment of new JVs, divestments, acquisitions of shares of assets;
- Assisting, advising, and negotiating alongside with the business, finance, and tax teams;
- Crafting comprehensive legal and compliance opinions;
- LLB degree from a reputable university and called to the Singapore bar;
- Minimum 8-12 years of experience in either a law firm or as a legal counsel, preferably with experience in trading and distribution, property development, construction related;
- Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, knowledge of and litigation;
- Able to travel to Malaysia (Penang, Johor, KL) with Managing Director for M&A jobs;
