Building Information Modelling Coordinator

Implementing BIM workflows and processes is a critical aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will lead Integrated Concurrent Engineering (ICE) meetings and Coordinated Combined Services Model (CCSM) to resolve design and construction issues promptly using BIM models.

The Building Information Modelling Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with consultants, system-wide contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure discipline-specific design and construction conflicts are identified, resolved, and rectified.

Key responsibilities include utilising Navisworks to generate Clash Detection Reports and enhancing the report progress using Bim Collab. Additionally, the coordinator will review and validate models created by different disciplines to ensure they are clash-free, accurate, and compliant with project requirements.

The role also involves liaising with the Project Document Controller for accurate data transfer and participating in technical, design, and consultants' meetings to understand onsite requirements. Furthermore, the coordinator will establish and enforce BIM standards and quality control procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy in BIM deliverables.

Other key duties include developing and maintaining the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with defined standards. The coordinator will oversee, coordinate, and manage a team of BIM modelers to meet all BIM deliverables submissions and information exchange schedules as documented in the agreed BEP.

Assisting the project team in 3D models and 2D shop drawings, providing training and support to less experienced team members, and performing other ad-hoc duties assigned are also essential responsibilities.
