The role of a Building Information Modelling (BIM) Modeler is pivotal in the construction of buildings and infrastructure. This position entails interpreting architectural drawings and creating/updating BIM models to ensure accuracy and precision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret drawings and create/update BIM models, ensuring data consistency and integrity
  • Produce BIM documentation with proper title blocks for submission, adhering to established guidelines
  • Create/modify BIM Object Families (parametric and non-parametric), streamlining the modelling process

BIM Modellers are also responsible for maintaining accurate records of BIM/Drawing versions and ensuring that all deliverables and documentation comply with industry standards.

Additionally, this role involves coordinating with team members to obtain further details or clarification as needed, as well as supporting the BIM Coordinator/BIM Manager in coordinating with other stakeholders when required.

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year or close to 1 year experience in BIM Modelling work
  • Archi BIM Modeler - Experienced in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD
  • M&E BIM Modeler - Experienced in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD
  • C&S BIM Modeler - Experienced in Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D

A candidate with experience in BIM Coordination or Simulation using Navisworks, VRcollab, Fuzor, Revizto, or other relevant software would be an added advantage, although on-the-job training will be provided to candidates without relevant software experience.
