Job Description

As a seasoned professional, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Program Manager to join our team at a local museum. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering educational programs that engage and inspire visitors of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective educational programs that meet the needs of diverse audiences.
  2. Collaborate with educators, curators, and other stakeholders to design engaging learning experiences.
  3. Manage and facilitate museum visits from schools or the public, ensuring meaningful and curriculum-aligned experiences.
  4. Organise and deliver talks, lectures, and educational activities for schools, community groups, and the public.
  5. Develop engaging learning resources, including guides, digital content, and exhibition materials.
  6. Collect and analyse feedback to refine and improve educational programs.
  7. Promote initiatives through outreach and digital platforms, while supporting docent management and training.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Possesses minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Museum Studies, Arts Management, History, or related field with experience in Museum Education and/or similar cultural institutions.
  2. Knowledge of Canva and Adobe Illustrator.
  3. Strong project management and organisational skills.
  4. Comfortable with working on selected weeknights and weekends.
