As a seasoned Restaurant Operations Director, you will oversee the daily activities of our esteemed fine dining establishment, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage opening and closing procedures to maintain high standards of service and quality control.
  • Monitor food presentation, consistency, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement operational standards and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Train staff to handle customer complaints professionally and promptly resolve issues.
Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate restaurant staff to ensure excellent performance and productivity.
  • Plan and manage staff schedules to meet business demands.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for growth and development.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and foster team morale through effective communication and leadership.
Administrative Support:
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, incidents, and customer feedback.
Wine Program & Beverage Management:
  • Oversee wine selection, inventory management, and wine list accuracy and pricing.
  • Ensure proper wine storage, handling, and service standards.
  • Collaborate with the sommelier on menu pairings and special events.
Customer Service Excellence:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the overall dining experience and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

Experience & Education:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant management experience in upscale settings.
  • Fine dining experience is highly preferred.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing complex restaurant operations.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including bilingual capabilities (English and Mandarin).
  • Understanding of Singapore's food service regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
