Wine Service Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Wine Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional wine service to our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement wine menus that showcase the diversity of our wine selection, while also highlighting the unique characteristics of each wine.
  • Promote wine knowledge and appreciation among our guests through educational workshops and tastings.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of wine production methods, grape varieties, and regions to provide expert advice to our guests.
  • Assist in training and developing our wine service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide top-notch wine service.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop pairing recommendations and enhance the overall dining experience for our guests.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for growth in our wine program.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in wine service or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of wine, including but not limited to: wine regions, grape varieties, wine production methods, and wine service techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and customer feedback.
  • A passion for wine and a desire to continuously learn and grow in this field.
