Job Description:

The Assistant Dry Docking Commercial Superintendent oversees the planning, preparation and follow up with the shipyards on the fleet vessels drydocking projects. This role is performed in close coordination with the commercial and Fleet Management department.

This position assists the Senior Dry-Docking Commercial Superintendent in reviewing Dry-Dock repair specifications submissions and partnering with stakeholders to ensure completeness and clarity on dry-docking activities required.

Liaising with Shipyards' representatives to provide dock space and progress updates and monitoring repair projects.

Controlling the overall dry-docking expenses within approved limits.

Preparing weekly financial progress reports to assist the attending Superintendent on the status of the projects during the course of repairs at shipyard.

Monitoring costs and highlighting increases or decreases in cost; reporting findings weekly.

Supporting the Senior Dry-Docking Commercial Superintendent in preparing the Dry-Docking variance report or shipyard bill settlement.
