Dry Dock Operations Expert

BW Epic Kosan is seeking a seasoned Dry Dock Operations Expert to join their team. As a key member of the company's operations department, this individual will be responsible for overseeing all dry docking and major repair projects.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement long-term and short-term strategies for improved vessel condition and operational performance.
  • Be responsible for all vessels' dry docking, major layup repairs, new equipment installations - regulatory or company specific, and any major projects, including new building projects.
  • Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders within BW Epic Kosan, sea staff, statutory organizations, clients, and third-party service providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree in engineering or an equivalent discipline, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of sailing experience as a second officer.
  • Experience in handling extensive layup repair projects for 2 years.
  • Technologically driven, comfortable working in a digital environment, logical process development.
  • Ability to travel at short notice and manage a 24/7 on-call lifestyle.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the rules and regulations governing vessels' management.
  • Committed and responsible in meeting deadlines with excellent time management skills.
  • Independent, outcome-driven, organized, and strong team orientation.

Others:

  • You will be rotated from vessel to vessel on a basis of minimum 210 working days per calendar year otherwise it will be working from home arrangement with 3 months leave.
