Our client, a shipping company, is on a lookout for a **Dry Docking Manager** to join their expanding team

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze previous docking costs and invoices to identify cost optimization opportunities
- Carry out detailed comparison of shipyard quotation and provide recommendations on dry-dock options, basis costs/availability
- Comprehensive understanding of cost drivers and key commercial challenges
- Other budget related activities as delegated by the Head of department
- Liaise closely with relevant stakeholders on all aspects of dry dock planning and management and keep Technical Operations closely advised of any developments
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned

**Requirements**:

- Diploma and above in Maritime Studies or in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a ship management company or shipyard and willing to travel
- Good foundation in various class, flag and other regulatory/statutory requirements
- Added advantage of being a project lead, carrying out at least 5 dry docking
- Added advantage of project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP certificationv
