
Catering Restaurant Director

This is a senior role in which the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our catering restaurant. The key objective is to ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, hygiene, and overall guest satisfaction.
The Catering Operations Manager will have direct responsibility for managing staff, optimizing service efficiency, coordinating kitchen and front-of-house activities, and achieving business goals. This includes:
- Managing and supervising daily restaurant and catering operations to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Leading and training service staff, kitchen crew, and support employees to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Planning and executing catering orders for events, corporate clients, and private functions with attention to detail and precision.
- Monitoring food quality, presentation, and consistency in line with brand standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handling customer feedback and resolving complaints professionally and promptly to maintain a positive reputation.
- Ensuring compliance with NEA and food safety regulations and hygiene standards to protect customers and employees.
- Collaborating with the Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to plan seasonal menus and promotions that meet customer preferences and market trends.
- Controlling inventory, food cost, and labor cost to meet budgetary targets and optimize profitability.
- Analyzing sales reports and implementing strategies to increase revenue and reduce waste to improve business performance.
- Coordinating with suppliers for timely ordering and stock replenishment to maintain efficient operations.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Degree in Hospitality Management, F&B, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in restaurant or catering management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and engage team members.
- Excellent organizational and customer service abilities to deliver results-driven outcomes.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., WSQ Food Hygiene, HACCP) preferred.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
