Cloud Solutions Architect

We're seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud platform engineering squad, you will play a vital role in designing and building the next generation of cloud infrastructure and developer services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure deployment and automation. They will be hands-on with leadership experience guiding small teams of software engineers. Additionally, they will have a passion for coaching and growing peers, as well as a deep interest in building automation for secure, resilient, and highly available systems at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering excellence in cloud platform development and operations.
  • Guide and mentor development communities to adopt and deploy on the cloud.
  • Learn and implement large-scale automation for multi-cloud landing zones across major cloud service providers.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in API/backend development and integration using languages such as Java and Python.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure deployment and automation.
  • Hands-on leadership experience guiding small teams of software engineers.
  • Practitioner in agile development, secure pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Policies as Code, and Git.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Interest in large-scale distributed systems and their operational challenges.
