Job Overview

This role involves overseeing the performance of outsourced maintenance service providers in civil & building systems to ensure all systems are functional and serviceable at all times.

Audit and monitor service standards rendered by specialist vendors and outsourced maintenance providers to guarantee high-quality services.

Support senior management in capital replacements, systems upgrades, and building improvement projects.

Coordinate and support facility operations, establishing clear accountability and expectations for site-based trade teams in collaboration with site leads and facilities managers.

Assist with contract management for Civil & Building systems, including monitoring, escalation, claims, disputes, and retention processes.

Maintain contractual and authority records, ensuring compliance and proper documentation for audits and authorities.

Develop, harmonize, and update trade-related SOPs, policies, and checklists to align with industry best practices.

Monitor and manage vendors' performance against KPIs, conduct regular audits, and ensure timely repair of system faults and breakdowns.

Participate in risk management for contract renewals and procurement, ensuring compliance with finance and procurement policies.

Lead investigations into incidents or system failures, determine root causes, and implement preventive measures.

Plan and oversee civil & building system upgrades or replacements before end-of-life expiration.

Mentor and develop capabilities of trade team members, participate in knowledge sharing sessions, and maintain industry knowledge through continuous professional development.

Requirements
  • Certificate in degree related to Civil & Building Services and facilities operations;
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in management of Civil & Building services, facilities operations, and improvement projects;
  • Certificate in Fire Safety Manager/Officer or relevant fire safety experience is advantageous.
