Job Description:

The Pricing and Profitability Specialist is a critical role that requires strategic thinking, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. This position is responsible for developing pricing strategies, analyzing profitability, and benchmarking against market and competitors.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Define pricing requirements for tenders and conduct customer-specific cost analyses to prepare consolidated pricing documents.
  • Ensure consistent pricing across customers, products, and markets by evaluating bid outcomes and performing profitability analysis.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews of rate performance, recommend improvements, and support the implementation of new surcharges and performance reports/scorecards.
  • Develop tools, procedures, and training to enhance efficiency in pricing processes, maintain accurate databases for customer pricing, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in pricing processes.
  • Act as a pricing expert and global/regional contact point, provide input to Tender Review Boards, and participate in ad hoc projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to develop and implement pricing strategies and tactics to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
