Job Summary

This role involves coordinating and managing Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services in building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and relevant experience in the construction industry.


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized professional to oversee the M&E aspects of our building projects. This includes providing technical support, scheduling, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and authorities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the project team, including design development, procurement, and construction management.
  • Schedule and coordinate M&E activities, ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and authorities on M&E matters, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Supervise and coordinate M&E works, ensuring safe work practices and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections and testing of M&E systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain coordinated services drawings (CSDs), ensuring accuracy and completeness.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A recognized degree/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with at least five years of relevant experience in building projects.
  • Proven track record of managing M&E services, including technical support, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and Authorities' requirements relating to M&E services and building construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
