Massage Therapy Job Description

The primary goal of a massage therapist is to provide relaxation and relief from pain and discomfort through the use of manual manipulation of soft tissues. This includes muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various types of massages such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
  • Assist in the assessment of range of motion and muscle strength.
  • Develop and propose client therapy plans.
  • Consult with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for clients.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.

They will also have knowledge of different massage techniques and modalities, as well as the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Strong physical stamina and endurance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
