Airfreight Logistics Specialist

  • Coordinate with customers and destination to manage shipping instructions
  • Work closely with procurement team to book flights
  • Arrange shipment collection with customers and traffic teams
  • Maintain knowledge of cargo commodities according to IATA regulations
  • Monitor shipments status and inform customers accordingly
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Handle customer enquiries effectively and timely
  • Collaborate with operations teams to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure compliance with customer standard operating procedures
  • Update data correctly in systems
  • Interface with customers, warehouses, carriers, customs, etc. on shipment requirements
  • Monitor progress to achieve monthly targets
  • Closely work with billing teams to close off jobs and issue invoices
  • Manage supplier invoice disputes and take charge of issue resolutions
  • Implement improvements to enhance service capabilities within the team
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as instructed by supervisors or managers
">Requirements:
  • Hold a diploma in logistics or supply chain management or equivalent
  • Have at least 3-4 years of experience in airfreight and familiar with export processes
  • Have good understanding of incoterms
  • Be self-disciplined, initiative-driven, responsible, and independent in fast-paced environments
  • Be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable to changes
  • Pay close attention to details
