Job Title: Air Procurement Specialist

As an Air Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the procurement process of airfreight carriers to ensure high-quality service delivery and cost efficiency.

  • You will source, evaluate, and manage airfreight carriers to optimize cargo transportation.
  • You will build strong partnerships with airlines and logistics providers to negotiate competitive rates and uphold service quality.
  • You will lead the carrier procurement process, including RFQ preparation and execution, to secure optimal pricing and guaranteed capacity.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design cost-effective airfreight solutions that align with business objectives.
  • You will implement strategic air procurement initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth and enhancing air product offerings.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain Management.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the airfreight industry.
  • Strong knowledge of airfreight pricing, spot rate mechanisms, capacity management, and supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and marketing within the air cargo sector.
