Portfolio Manager Opportunity - Develop Profitable Trading Strategies and Advance Research Initiatives in a Dynamic Environment.


At AlphaGrep, we are always on the lookout for exceptional Senior Traders/Portfolio Managers who can bring consistent, profitable track records to our team. We have significant market share on several large global exchanges as well as one of the largest firms by trading volume on Indian exchanges.

We use a disciplined and systematic quantitative approach to identify factors that consistently generate alpha. These factors are then coupled with our proprietary ultra-low latency trading systems and robust risk management to develop trading strategies across asset classes (equities, commodities, currencies, fixed income) that trade on global exchanges.


As part of our efforts to diversify and further develop our coverage and capabilities, we require candidates to possess

  • A proven ability to develop new, profitable trading strategies,
  • Advance existing research initiatives and explore new avenues for quantitative research and trading
  • A proficiency with coding (reasonable fluency in C++, Python are ideal) in a Linux environment
  • Strong mathematical and statistical aptitude

They should also have a solid understanding of relevant market trends and developments, with a robust working knowledge of market dynamics of their chosen regions/coverage. Live strategies with good sharpe ratios are essential, as well as sizable exposure to Machine Learning, Neural Network, High-Performance Computing and/or Natural Language Processing concepts and technologies which are a plus.
