FX Trading Specialist

We expand our footprint in the Fixed Income and FX markets, looking for an FX Trading Specialist to drive trading strategies and contribute to the growth of our FX desk in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Build and manage high-frequency FX trading strategies.
  2. Monitor global macroeconomic developments impacting Asian FX markets.
  3. Identify trading opportunities in spot FX, forwards, and FX futures while managing risk across different currency pairs.
  4. Collaborate with quantitative researchers to develop models for pricing, risk management, and identifying arbitrage opportunities.
  5. Ensure efficient execution of trades through automated systems and algorithms.
  6. Manage risk effectively, keeping within defined limits.
  7. Monitor market liquidity and optimize execution strategies to minimize costs.
  8. Work closely with technology teams to refine trading tools and infrastructure.
  9. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements in various Asian markets, ensuring compliance.
Requirements:
  1. A strong track record of profitability in FX trading.
  2. In-depth knowledge of FX markets and interest rates.
  3. Excellent risk management skills, with experience in managing risk exposure.
  4. Experience with algorithmic trading systems and a strong understanding of quantitative models.
  5. A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate market views and trading strategies.
  7. The ability to adapt to fast-moving markets and quickly adjust trading strategies as conditions change.
