As we continue to expand our footprint in the Fixed Income and FX markets, we are looking for an
FX Trader
to join our team in Singapore to drive our trading strategies and contribute to the growth of our FX desk in the region. In this role, you will be responsible for trading across various Asian currencies, executing strategies based on macroeconomic developments, interest rate trends, and market dynamics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build and manage high frequency FX trading strategies.
Monitor global macroeconomic and interest rate developments, specifically those impacting Asian FX markets.
Identify trading opportunities in spot FX, forwards, and FX futures while managing risk across different currency pairs.
Collaborate with quantitative researchers to develop and refine models for pricing, risk management, and identifying arbitrage opportunities.
Ensure efficient execution of trades through the use of automated trading systems and proprietary algorithms.
Manage and hedge risk effectively, keeping within defined risk limits.
Monitor market liquidity and optimize execution strategies to minimize trading costs.
Work closely with the technology and development teams to refine and improve trading tools and infrastructure.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements in various Asian markets, ensuring compliance with trading regulations.
Provide market insights and feedback to senior management on opportunities and challenges in the Asia FX market.
WHO YOU ARE
A strong track record of profitability and performance in FX trading.
In-depth knowledge of FX markets and interest rates.
Excellent risk management skills, with experience in managing risk exposure in volatile markets.
Experience with algorithmic trading systems and a strong understanding of quantitative models for pricing and risk management.
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate market views and trading strategies to colleagues and senior management.
Ability to adapt to fast-moving markets and quickly adjust trading strategies as market conditions change.
