About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Trading Strategy Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and automating trading strategies, as well as backtesting and optimizing them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trading strategies using various programming languages such as VBA, C++, and Java.
  • Automate trading processes using scripts and algorithms.
  • Backtest and optimize trading strategies to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement trade execution systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in any discipline, preferably with a programming background.
  • At least 1 year of experience in securities dealing or trading.
  • Proficiency in major programming languages such as VBA, C++, Java, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with risk management concepts and hedging strategies.
  • Certifications in CMFAS M1a, M5 & M6 and M6a are an advantage.
