Account Management Specialist

To effectively manage a portfolio of accounts and ensure that outstanding debts are collected, service issues are resolved, and business objectives related to collection strategy and customer service are achieved.

The key objective is to minimize bad debts within the assigned account base as specified by the Manager. This involves maximising the collection of overdue monies within the assigned account base in accordance with the current collection procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage telephonic relations with customers in an efficient and professional manner
  • Reduce the customer credit risk
  • Monitor and approve credit limits and payment terms
  • Ensure compliance with group rules and procedures
  • Release blocked customer orders
  • Generate Dunning reports for customers in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Post and allocate incoming payments into SAP
  • Resolve all service issues preventing customers from paying the Company

Required Qualifications:

  • Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • SAP user
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Effective communicator with excellent written and oral English skills
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required
