Job Summary:
  • Understand the principles of modern communication and its various aspects.
  • Develop expertise in media relations, including building relationships with journalists, identifying news stories, creating media kits, compiling media lists, and reaching out to media outlets.
  • Produce high-quality written content, such as press releases, briefing documents, coverage reports, pitch notes, fact sheets, and client correspondence.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media platforms and their applications.
  • Assist in training and mentoring interns.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including research and proposal preparation.
  • Commit to ongoing learning through professional development programs and other training opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or diploma, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent organizational skills, and ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.
  • Previous internship experience is highly valued.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to delivering high-quality work consistently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various projects.
  • A basic understanding of media relations and social media usage in communications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic research skills and project management abilities.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and contribute to a high-performing team.
