APAC Payroll Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to lead our payroll team in APAC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organization and take on new challenges.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- This includes reviewing and validating monthly payroll calculations, statutory contributions, and year-end reporting across supported countries.
- The Payroll Manager will also be expected to liaise with internal departments (HR, Finance, Compliance) and external vendors or government bodies as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 4 payroll staff managing payroll across multiple APAC countries.
- Ensure timely and accurate end-to-end payroll processing in accordance with local regulations and company policies.
- Review and validate monthly payroll calculations, statutory contributions, and year-end reporting across supported countries.
- Liaise with internal departments (HR, Finance, Compliance) and external vendors or government bodies as needed.
- Lead or support payroll-related audits and ensure compliance with SOX/internal audit requirements.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the payroll team to ensure high performance and development.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, HR, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience managing payroll in multiple APAC countries
- Experience using major payroll systems
