The job requires a strategic Regional Payroll Expert to manage payroll operations and compliance in APAC.

Key responsibilities include establishing and managing the future payroll framework, leading APAC input into the RFP process, providing project management oversight for payroll transformation initiatives, and acting as the key advocate for payroll in APAC.

Additionally, the role involves aligning payroll operations with laws and statutory reporting requirements, leading vendor governance reviews, ensuring standard operating procedures remain current, maintaining and strengthening control frameworks, and serving as the primary contact for addressing customer concerns related to payroll compliance and delivery issues.

The ideal candidate will direct and control payroll services from vendors and internal sources, ensuring precision, timeliness, and consistency across APAC markets.

They will also validate payroll outputs, supervise expatriate and shadow payrolls, safeguard business continuity, lead system automation projects, and monitor vendor performance metrics.
