Building Inspector and Maintenance Specialist
Are you looking for a challenging role in building inspections and maintenance? We are seeking an experienced Building Inspector and Maintenance Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc inspections of building systems (structural, M&E, lifts, plumbing, fire protection) to verify compliance with regulations and project specifications.
- Prepare clear inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and maintenance records; track remediation and follow up to closure.
- Assist with permit applications, submission of required documentation to regulatory authorities, and support audits and site visits by regulators.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current and valid BCA license relevant to the trade and scope of work.
- Diploma or certification in Building Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related trade certification.
- Strong working knowledge of BCA codes/regulations and relevant local standards.
- Proficient in completing inspection forms, technical reports, and using CAFM/EAM or Microsoft Office tools.
- Good diagnostic/troubleshooting skills and ability to read drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
