Building Maintenance Specialist

The Building Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial building. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities:- Perform maintenance, repairs, testing and inspection of building mechanical and electrical services, associated systems, plant and equipment in accordance with relevant statutory standards and operational procedures.
- Deliver maintenance services outlined in management plans and maintain records as appropriate to contribute to the safety and security of premises, staff and visitors.
- May carry out installation works involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works to ensure ongoing maintenance and upkeep of premises.
- Relevant vocational/trade qualification combined with experience in a related discipline.
- Experience in an operations support or building maintenance role, and/or knowledge of the property management industry, and relevant legislation relating to facilities operating environments.
- Knowledge and understanding of operational procedures and safe working practices of major items of plant and systems.
- Communication and customer service skills to effectively communicate and implement company policies and practices.
- Competencies include: Customer Focus, Planning & Organising, Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking, Verbal Communications, Written Communications.
