The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within buildings. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and supervising subcontractors' work progression to ensure compliance with shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples.
- Liaising with relevant authorities, subcontractors, main contractors, or clients on shop drawings, materials, and samples.
- Reviewing and aligning ACMV design drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and guidelines.
- Developing expertise in M&E and identifying discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions.
- Managing and executing projects according to deadlines.
- Attending meetings with subcontractors/contractors/clients to address issues and update progress.
- Studying and reviewing drawings, specifications for compliance.
- Allocating work and ensuring jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards and SOP.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Candidates with more than 10 years of relevant experience may be considered for Senior positions.
- Preferably candidates with relevant working experience in the Construction Industry, especially in ACMV system installation.
- Sound knowledge in ACMV System, Local/International Code of Practice/Standard, Green Mark Requirement, Hydronic/Static Calculation, BIM, Revit, AutoCAD is an advantage.
