Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide smooth and efficient service at the bar ensuring that standards are met at all times.
  • Present menu/drinks list, answer inquiries, and make suggestions regarding food, beverage, and service to guests.
  • Take orders & serve food and beverage to guests according to the established sequence and procedures.
  • Fully conversant with all aspects of the point of sale system.
  • Ensure all food and beverage items, equipment, and other facilities in the outlet are maintained according to operational requirements.
  • Constantly strive to satisfy all guests that patronize the outlet.
  • Take guest orders and serve items without unnecessary delay.
  • Familiar and have good knowledge of the outlet's menu and wine list.
  • Upsell beverages to increase revenue.
  • Report any difficulties or problems to supervisor/assistant manager for a solution or follow-up actions.
  • Maintain par stocks of beverages and guest supplies.
  • Prepare mise-en-place according to requirement and operational needs.
  • Clear and reset counters or tables.
  • Prepare and serve all beverages as requested.
  • Assist in setting up/decorating the outlet according to theme during special promotions or occasions.
  • Ensure all beverage stock is kept in proper storage under appropriate temperature.
  • Ensure all glasses are well polished.
  • Assist in bar stock inventory and maintain accurate inventory record.
  • Submit request for replenishing beverage items in the bar.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in a bar-related field is required for this position specializing in food and beverage services.
  • Excellent bartending skills.
  • Well-developed knowledge of wines and other beverages.
  • Guest-driven & friendly
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Team player, who values teamwork, has good team-building skills, and is able to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Positive, motivated, passionate, and seeks opportunities to be multi-skilled and trained.
  • Good personal grooming & personal presentation.
