**Job Overview**

  • A high-performing Support Engineer with strong technical expertise is required to provide exceptional system and application support services.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a passion for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality results. As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring CPU, memory, logs, and services to ensure optimal system performance
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system, application, and infrastructure issues in a timely manner
  • Performing routine system checks, updates, patching, and backups to maintain data integrity
  • Monitoring application health, responding to alerts, and escalating issues to higher-level teams or vendors as required
  • Managing incidents and service requests via a ticketing system to ensure timely closure
  • Assisting in system testing, deployment, and post-deployment support to ensure seamless delivery
  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation, issue logs, and resolution procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvement
  • Supporting user access management, system configuration, and security enforcement to ensure compliance and data protection
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and compliance with industry standards
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' experience in application maintenance, system support, or server infrastructure setup
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker, including experience in managing application logs
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Xen, KVM, OpenStack, CloudStack, Azure Stack)
  • Familiarity with cloud orchestration, configuration management, and auto-scaling techniques
  • Strong knowledge of networking, load balancing (TCP/IP, DNS), and WiFi setup
  • Experience with storage technologies (NAS, SAN, SDS, Ceph file systems such as RBD, CephFS)
  • Hands-on experience with automation/configuration tools (Salt, Chef, Puppet, Ansible)
  • Proficiency in scripting/coding (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl) and Linux OS administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Knowledge of IT security standards (CIS, IM8), policy management, and hardware/server restoration
