We are seeking a seasoned Policy and Programme Management expert to join our team as a Senior Manager.

Job Description

This is a key role that combines policy development, programme management and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategic national initiatives aimed at enhancing support for mid-career workers to upskill and reskill.

  • Develop and maintain robust monitoring frameworks to track programme effectiveness and outcomes
  • Manage budget planning
  • Stakeholder management and communication

You will work closely with key stakeholders across government agencies to ensure alignment in implementation and smooth change management. This includes leading secretariat duties for strategic meetings, coordinating responses to public enquiries and stakeholder feedback, and establishing and maintaining up-to-date communication materials.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in policy work and stakeholder engagement in complex settings. Strong project and timeline management skills are essential, along with the ability to translate broad problem statements into specific policies and identify key issues of relevance.

Candidates should also possess strong policy implementation, analytical, writing, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ability to work well independently as well as in a team is crucial. A keen interest in careers and skills policies is desirable.

Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance, with the possibility of extension or permanent tenure. As a bonus, we encourage all candidates to sign up for a Careers & Skills Passport.
