Policy Professional

The Role

  • Conduct in-depth economic and labour market analysis to advise senior leadership on workforce trends and implications.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret complex data to formulate policy recommendations that align with organisational objectives.
  • Advocate for stronger worker protection and progression by developing insights and policy papers.
  • Liaise with government agencies and internal stakeholders to influence policymaking and support advocacy efforts.
  • Develop tailored recommendations and support schemes addressing diverse worker needs.
  • Track macroeconomic outlooks, employment patterns, and sectoral shifts affecting the workforce.
  • Produce reports, discussion papers, and presentations for senior management and policy forums.

Requirements

  • A recognised degree in Political Science, Economics, Law, Public Policy, or related disciplines is essential.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to policy and economics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders are crucial.
  • A self-starter with a keen interest in policy analysis and economic developments is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset are also required.
