Policy Expert Sought

We are looking for a Policy Expert to contribute to our organisation's policy development and analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing economic trends, labour market shifts, and workforce developments to advise senior leadership on strategic implications.

  • Formulating policy recommendations that align with organisational objectives and advocating for enhanced worker protection and progression.
  • Conducting in-depth policy and data analysis using third-party sources, economic datasets, and ground-level intelligence.
  • Developing insights and policy papers to inform internal stakeholders and support advocacy efforts.
  • Liaising with government agencies to influence and shape policymaking related to labour.
  • Partnering with internal business units, unions, and industry representatives to gather feedback from various sectors.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised degree in Political Science, Economics, Law, Public Policy, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to policy and economics.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
