Aon is a global leader in risk management and insurance consulting, and we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Natural Resources Director in Asia.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to new business and expanded business opportunities, collaborating with colleagues in Specialty and across the firm to develop solutions for new and existing clients. You will work closely with the Global, Regional, Country Management Teams and Aon Service Teams to deliver a wide range of insurance solutions and services to our Natural Resources client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to new business and expanded business opportunities, collaborating with colleagues to develop solutions for new and existing clients.
  • Work closely with the Global, Regional, Country Management Teams and Aon Service Teams to deliver a wide range of insurance solutions and services to our Natural Resources client base.
  • Responsibility for the delivery of uniformed discipline around work in progress and process delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, projects, and prospects, including servicing existing, new, and expanded business opportunities, renewals, and mid-term amendments.
  • Support the delivery of thought leadership and industry technical expertise to insurers, clients, prospects, and colleagues.
  • Support claims administration, management, and advocacy wherever needed.
  • Provide support for nominated countries on workflow, pipeline, account handling, tender support, etc.
  • Identify and keep up to date with sector trends relative to Natural Resources clients and prospects.
  • Deliver best practice through the utilisation of various Aon Systems, including Compliance and Transparency Standards and Protocols, sales and accounting systems, and the Natural Resources value proposition.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in Downstream Energy and Mining insurance sector.
  • Experience in client account management.
  • Minimum requirement (BCP, PGI, CommGI) for registration with MAS or such similar qualification acceptable to MAS preferred.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Self-disciplined, organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
