Job Summary

Synectics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business expansion, fostering client relationships, and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the casino equipment industry within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Analyse competitors and market dynamics to develop product positioning and differentiation strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Identify and prioritise target markets and segments within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with existing clients to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions that align with the company's offerings.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close client deals.
  • Stay updated with the latest video surveillance technology developments and deeply understand the company's product offerings relevant to the targeted segment.
  • Provide training and support to partners, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the products and services.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
  • Provide feedback from the market to assist in product enhancements and innovations.
  • Stay current with regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Ensure the company's products and operations adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing sales performance, market trends, and progress against targets.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve overall business performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development and sales within the casino equipment manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Asia Pacific market, particularly in video surveillance for the casino and gaming industry.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the region is advantageous.
