
Revenue Generation Sales Manager

This role is responsible for driving revenue growth within the Banquet Department.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Banquet Operations Department and the Executive Chef to ensure seamless execution of banquets according to client arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and maintain relationships with potential banquet organizers through phone calls, written correspondence, and personal visits, achieving a high degree of closed sales.
- Prepare periodic sales reports highlighting lead generation, identification, qualification, proposal, contract, and other relevant data as required.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of room layouts, capacities, packages, menus, and beverage lists to propose tailored solutions to banquet organizers.
- Continuously evaluate and propose improvements for sales opportunities, staying abreast of new banqueting and catering trends.
- Ensure the banquet reservation book is up-to-date at all times.
- Solicit feedback from members, compile reports on comments and feedback to analyze performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop new offers.
- Handle inquiries related to banqueting, take bookings, and be responsible for allocating function rooms.
- Issue and explain Events Orders, including amendments, to all stakeholders in a timely and clear manner to guarantee successful events and full client satisfaction.
- Inspect function rooms before each event to ensure set-up is in order.
- Address complaints, reporting them to supervisors.
- Welcome banquet organizers prior to events, explaining proceedings to ensure they are satisfied.
- In consultation with immediate supervisor and the Chef, propose banquet packages and menus for events.
- Foster repeat business and revenues by providing excellent service, upselling, and recommending additional services and activities.
- Verify billing for all functions for manager review.
- Maintain statistical information on departmental performance.
- Acquire familiarity with club rules, bylaws, and policies, advising members and guests accordingly.
- Inform supervisors and the Human Resources Department of any staff on unauthorized absence.
- Assist with other relevant duties related to F&B services in assigned outlets.
- Maintain warm, cordial, and professional relationships with members and their guests, respecting their privacy and avoiding discussion of personal matters.
- Assist with handling inquiries related to other outlets or departments, when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. Familiarity with club rules, bylaws, and policies. Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
