As a seasoned professional in claims administration, you will be responsible for ensuring that claims are handled efficiently and equitably.
- Liaise with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, and other stakeholders to guarantee timely and professional claims resolution.
- Train and mentor assistants in their support roles.
- Manage and process claims within agreed service standards or applicable protocols.
- Ensure reserves are updated in a timely and realistic manner.
- Provide expert advice to underwriters on issues discovered during claims handling.
- Visit clients' offices or attend meetings as required.
- Periodic review of files as needed.
- Pursue and follow up on recovery claims periodically.
Requirements:
- Hold a diploma or degree in insurance or a related field.
- Preferably hold DGI, HI, CGI qualifications or relevant insurance equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably handling travel claims.
