Claims Handler
The role of a Claims Handler is to efficiently manage and resolve claims from inception to closure, ensuring timely and fair settlements.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers, intermediaries, business partners, and internal stakeholders regarding claims status and progress.
- Respond effectively to customer inquiries and correspondence via phone or other communication channels.
- Conduct thorough reviews of claim files, including setting reserves and monitoring recoveries, to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Administer Motor claims in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
- Proactively provide feedback to internal stakeholders on claims performance and areas for improvement.
- Promote user testing of systems and new products enhancements to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Participate actively in Claims efficiency projects to drive process improvements and cost savings.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in claims processing within the insurance sector.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
