Country Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Country Operations Manager to oversee and manage our operations in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving continual improvement initiatives, ensuring effective operations and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thought Leadership: Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on operational best practices and strategic alignment.
  • Strategic Alignment: Spearhead the alignment of business and operations strategies to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and profit and loss management.
  • Cost Optimization: Lead cost-efficient drives to optimize operations and reduce expenses.
  • Asset Management: Oversee assets and infrastructure to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Daily Operations: Ensure seamless daily operations and consistently high service delivery across all departments.
  • Customer Experience: Lead and implement customer experience strategies to ensure high service quality benchmarks.
  • Compliance: Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Business Development: Work closely with internal teams on growth strategies, brand visibility, and demand generation.
  • Occupancy and Rate Performance: Drive occupancy and rate performance through market insights, price, and revenue management.
  • Commercial Partnerships: Foster commercial partnerships with corporate clients, agencies, and online booking platforms.
  • Expansion Projects: Collaborate with business development teams on potential expansion projects and new initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal obligations and enforce risk management protocols across all functions.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards in safety, hygiene, and operational integrity.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with owners, investors, and corporate leaders to share performance updates and strategic plans.
  • Reporting and Insights: Provide transparent reporting and insights to support stakeholder decision-making.
  • Employee Performance: Manage employee performance, including goal-setting and reviews.
  • Mentorship: Mentor senior leaders on career development using structured tools and individual development plans.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field of study.
  • Operational Experience: Strong experience in similar roles, managing operations and handling P&L.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork: Hands-on approach and ability to work well in a small team.
