Job Overview:

  • To conduct thorough inspections of buildings under European Standard NEN 2767, assessing their physical condition and identifying defects due to lack of maintenance.
  • Provide a comprehensive grading of building conditions, recommending prioritization of defects based on safety and assessment.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure they meet acceptable standards for general safety, health, and cleanliness.
  • Verify building conditions against estate records, highlighting discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out land and property inspections.
  • Conduct condition assessments of physical spaces, including external areas, building envelopes, roofs, and internal areas.
  • Identify and grade defects, recommending corrective actions.
  • Assess facility conditions, proposing upgrades or replacements as necessary.
  • Inspect properties for general safety, health, and cleanliness.
  • Verify building conditions against estate records.
  • Submit reports for certification and payment.
  • Ensure all submissions are clear, concise, and written in proper English.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Building/Real Estate from Singapore/Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
  • At least 2 years of experience in facilities management.
  • Possession of Specialist Certificate in Building Condition Assessment (European Standard NEN 2767) is an advantage.
