Student Care Mentor Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Student Care Mentor to join our team. As a Student Care Mentor, you will play a vital role in providing care and guidance to students aged between 6 and 12 years old.

  • You will work closely with primary school-aged kids and other facility members and staff to facilitate and execute daily activities according to timetable.
  • Provide care and guidance to a group of students, supervise the completion of homework assignments from school or in-house prepared materials.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure safety and security protocols are met at all times.
  • Work hours are from Monday to Friday between 11am and 7pm.
  • Locations are easily accessible by bus/MRT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, games, and activities that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of programs and services.
  • Conduct regular progress checks and assessments to monitor student growth and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Completed GCE 'O' Level (3 credit passed including a pass in English) / GCE 'N' Level, 'A' Level, NITEC or Diploma.
  • In-house Training or Sponsored Certificate Training will be provided if without relevant experience upon confirmation.
  • Working experience in student care or tutoring is advantageous.
  • Keen passion to mentor, guide, and engage children with dedication.
  • Friendly and cheerful with good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Competitive salary: SGD $1,700 to SGD $2,000 monthly.
