**About this Role**

As a Care Professional, you will bring joy and dignity to the lives of our seniors by providing optimal quality in-home care and support for our clients and their families. We’re looking for self-motivated individuals with the compassion and dedication to provide care.

This can be a regular full-time or part-time or an independent freelance contractor role. You choose your flexible work arrangement.

Job Responsibilities

1) Provide professional and culturally appropriate personal care i.e., assist with Activities of Daily Living tailored to suit individual needs

2) Ensure safety, wellbeing, and support seniors to live as independently as possible at home

3) Perform simple routine nursing procedures (for those with relevant training and experience)

4) Check vital signs, provide medication reminders, and assist in administering oral medication

5) Assist and supervise seniors on light maintenance and rehabilitation exercises

6) Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support

7) Escort seniors to medical appointments and other social activities

8) Maintain clear and legible documentation and records

9) Perform relevant non-specialist care activities whenever necessary

Skills & Qualifications
- Certification in professional caregiving, healthcare assistant or other relevant qualifications (training & OJT will be provided for those who do not have relevant qualification)
- Hands-on care experience especially caring for seniors a plus
- Good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with seniors and their families
- Physically capable of transferring or assisting the senior’s mobility (ability to lift, pull or push)
- Read, write, and speak English, Mandarin, or a native dialect or language
- Able to use simple MS Word
