Job Title: Aluminium Works Designer


We are seeking a highly skilled Aluminium Works Designer to join our team. As an Aluminium Works Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing aluminium curtain wall systems based on architectural plans and specifications.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and draft aluminium curtain wall systems using AutoCAD, Inventor, or Revit software.
  • Create 3D models to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
  • Develop shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and submittal drawings for aluminium curtain wall systems.
  • Work with estimators, project managers, and production teams to ensure designs align with cost and manufacturing feasibility.
  • Assist in mock-up development and provide technical sales support when required.
  • Resolve design conflicts and optimize buildability for efficient fabrication and installation.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-6+ years of experience in curtain wall or façade design, preferably in a fabrication or construction environment.
  • Experience with large-scale projects (e.g., commercial high-rises, airports) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, or BIM software.
  • Knowledge of aluminium, glass, gaskets, and other curtain wall materials.
  • Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles.
  • Soft skills include strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
