Business Development Manager for Ground Support

The role of a Business Development Manager for Ground Support involves leading the strategic development and commercial execution of ground support services across Southeast Asia. This includes strengthening partnerships, expanding regional collaboration, driving business growth, enhancing dealer performance, delivering customer-centric solutions, and providing cross-functional leadership.


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and improve market share.
  • Partner Management: Foster strong relationships with dealers, contractors, and service providers to increase sales and revenue.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve operational performance.
  • Commercial Acumen: Utilize strong commercial acumen to convert customer needs into profitable business solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
  • Achieve a positive approach to building a sustainable EHS culture within the workplace.
  • Conduct EHS activities in accordance with Sandvik's global policy and ISO standards.
  • Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and ensure that your actions do not adversely affect the environment or the health and safety of anyone else in the workplace.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mining, geotechnical, or a related technical field; a master's degree in business/management is an advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the mining or tunnelling industry, with at least 5 years in a commercial or business leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of ground support products, services, and their application in mining and civil infrastructure.
