\Job Description
As Ground Support Equipment Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for conducting market studies to identify suitable GSE equipment products and technologies. You will also draft specifications, set evaluation criteria, and oversee factory testing, quality assurance, and acceptance testing.
\Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market studies to identify suitable GSE equipment products and technologies.
- Draft specifications (performance, technical, safety, maintainability), set evaluation criteria, and secretariat to the procurement/tender evaluation committees.
- Check development and design standards to ensure reliability, safety, maintainability, optimized total cost of ownership.
- Oversee factory testing, quality assurance, and acceptance testing.
- Manage the induction of procured equipment into operations, including material/spares package, commissioning and training.
- Work closely with SATS Procurement team to drive value capture and cost optimization over life cycle.
\Requirements
To be successful as Ground Support Equipment Engineering Manager, you will need:
- A degree in Engineering (Masters preferred) with 7+ years of senior technical and management experience in large-scale procurement, refurbishment, or maintenance projects involving service providers and in-house teams.
- Relevant experience in aviation ground ops, ground handling, aviation maintenance, land transport, or industrial fleet management (mechanical, hydraulic, electronic systems, engines, electrification).
- Familiar with technologies like predictive maintenance, automation, and autonomous systems.
