Job Title: Financial Institutions Officer

Job Description:

As a Financial Institutions Officer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining relationships with financial institutions. Your primary objective will be to cultivate new customers and counterparties through effective outreach initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate new financial institution customers and counterparties through effective outreach and relationship-building initiatives.
  • Manage correspondent banking activities, including Nostro and Vostro accounts, SWIFT relationship management applications, and corresponding communications.
  • Monitor and market trade finance business with credible counterparties in both Singapore and China markets.
  • Promote and develop our financial institution products to meet client needs.
  • Foster collaboration between headquarters, sister branches, and internal departments for credit line management.
  • Review and prepare credit applications and credit reviews.
  • Perform customer due diligence measures as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
  • A strong interest in front office roles and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact comfortably with various stakeholders.
  • Able to work effectively, independently, and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese languages for correspondence with clients and colleagues.
