Executive Director of Enterprise Risk Management

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the global financial services industry, shaping technology risk posture through various assessments and oversight activities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating high-level technology assessments, reviewing risk-and-control-self-assessments, and overseeing the enterprise's risk appetite related to technology and information risk.
- Lead a team in different types of risk assessments, providing expert guidance and support.
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of technology risk management.
- Prepare executive-level reports for regulators and senior management, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, along with at least 7 years of experience in technology or financial services. A sound understanding of industry-wide technology controls, issue management, and risk management frameworks is essential. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities are required.
Candidates with professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, ITIL, ISO27001, or COBIT will be advantageous. Technical experience with tools like SharePoint, Tableau, PowerBI, and ServiceNow is also a plus. Additionally, consulting and engagement with senior leadership will be beneficial.
